My Experience: Why I Am Choosing Community College

Last year, me where I would be attending college next year, I would have named three or four high-ranked options, most of which were far away from my high school if you had asked. Something is without a doubt, I would not need stated we’d be planning to community university. I did so all of the plain things you’re designed to do I toured the schools on my list, got recommendations from teachers whom liked me and switched nearly all of my applications in early. But my admissions tale ended differently than I expected, and I also’m sharing my story because I think it may be able to help other people who have not put on university yet.

My Stats

Once I applied to college, I’d a 3.7 unweighted GPA and a 4.2 weighted. My SAT score that is super a 1280. I had taken four AP classes and planned two more for my senior year. I became member of nationwide Honor community and Key Club, and was the supervisor of my school’s soccer team. I became additionally active in running 5Ks on the weekends.

I placed on university as an undecided major, and had four schools on my list: University of South Carolina, Tulane, new york State and Elon University.

I felt good about my list because my brother had stats that are similar me and had applied to these schools (plus two others) many years ago and experienced all of them. My parents agreed that this is a plan that is good. I knew I’d a somewhat lower possibility at Tulane compared to the other p (more…)
